Microsoft has started to roll out Windows 11 update and its available to download. But, there is a catch in this. This is a preview build and an insiders update so you won’t be able to update it directly. To download this and get an early access to the “next generation of windows” you need to register yourself as a windows insider.
There is no doubt that Microsoft has done major changes in there OS. Whether its UI or changes in privacy policies, Microsoft has done a great work. We have already discussed about maximum of its UI changes here. And this preview build already contains all of them. It supports new themes, has new wallpapers and gives options for both light and dark modes. Many people are already loving it. But as its said there are always two faces of a coin. A lot of people didn’t liked this version of windows as well.
One of the main feature that Microsoft announced is that it will support some Android apps. Microsoft collaborated with Amazon Appstore to introduce support for android apps. Microsoft Teams was used a lot in this time of pandemic. Hence, they will be closing the support of Microsoft Skype. And it will be replaced by Microsoft Teams. But this preview build doesn’t contains none of the feature right now.
How to check if your PC is compatible for Windows 11 ?
Microsoft had a tool on their website named PC Health Check. But currently they have dropped that tool. Many people trolled Microsoft on their PC Health Check tool. As it was not showing proper results .Even after PC meets the requirements to run windows 11, It sometimes shows “not compatible”.

Supported Processors for windows 11
Microsoft has said that Windows 11 will support processors from Intel 8th gen or newer . And from AMD zen2 processors or newer. But people are not seemed to be happy with this point. As Intel 7th gen processors and AMD zen 1 processors also completes the security based criteria set by Microsoft. Microsoft has posted a blog on their website addressing this issue. Which hinted that it might support Intel 7th gen processors and AMD zen 1 processors at the time of release.

How to install Windows 11 ?
To install Windows 11 in your PC you need to register to windows insider program. You can simply click here to register. After becoming part of insider program you simply have to go to settings then navigate to update and security. After that go to windows insider program and enable developer settings. It’s the last step and now your update should be ready to download in settings.
Should you upgrade to Windows 11 now?
Windows 11 will be a free upgrade and it will be available free to everyone by October 2021.Currently this version is an insider update of Windows 11. Hence, This is meant for beta testing and its obvious people might find many bugs and glitches. Although, installing this version won’t void any warranty. But, we recommend you not to download this windows insider update on your primary system or which you use daily for work. You can wait until October to get its stable version.
